Hitchin u3a members’ meetings are on the 2nd and 4th Mondays each month with short breaks for Easter and Xmas. The meetings are held in the conveniently central location of Christchurch, Bedford Rd (opposite Waitrose). They are also shown via Zoom at the same time. Details of the links to meetings will be sent to all members near the time of the talk.
Non members can participate by using this link to contact the Membership Secretary for details.
Meetings start at 2.15pm until 4pm - registration from 1.45pm. There is a full program of speakers throughout the year on a wide range of interesting topics - see below for details of upcoming talks. After the talk tea and biscuits are served by one of the groups, giving an opportunity to meet and chat with friends in a pleasant environment.
Coffee mornings at Wetherspoon's THE ANGEL pub in Sun Street. These are held on the Mondays in between the Speaker Meetings from 10.30 to 12noon and are a chance to meet up with friends or get to know other members in an informal setting. We are in the open air in the Secret Garden at the back but there is cover in case of inclement weather. If you have not joined us before, why not give it a try?
