CREATIVE DANCE

Typically we work on one theme per term eg suffragettes, loneliness. As a group we create the movement content within a pre-planned structure. Each session starts with a warm up designed to prepare bodies for movement and improve posture , coordination, strength, balance and flexibility. Guidance is provided in the development of interesting and appropriate dance material. By the end of the term/half term we have a short choreography that we are able to share with our peers/others. (On one occasion we performed at the Campus Theatre at the University of Bedfordshire as part of an intergenerational dance project.) This is an inclusive group, membership of which is likely to enhance mental and physical well-being. All are welcome. For more details please phone Maggie on 07759128914.
