This group meets roughly every 6 weeks usually on a Thursday evening. The idea is to bring together a group of people interested in food and good company to explore and sample the diverse fine dining scene in and around Hitchin, its restaurants, chefs and gourmet menus. When we meet outside of Hitchin town we will endeavour to provide transport as part of the cost. Typically the cost is between £75 to £150 per head. We realise this means the group will not be for everyone.

The next 'special' event is a Hungarian food and wine pairing at the Cock Inn, High Street, Hitchin on Thursday, 1 October 2026, at 7pm. The price is £75.
The next regular fine dining meeting will be on Thursday, 24 September | Hermitage Rd Bar & Restaurant, Hitchin: Hermitage Rd welcomes Farzi London and Executive Chef Nikhil Mahale for a very special one-night-only takeover. For one night only, Chef Nikhil will be taking over the Hermitage Rd kitchen working with our Head Chef Oli, producing a specially curated Farzi menu, accompanied by cocktails inspired by the flavours and spirit of India.
