2. To Kill a Mockingbird – Wednesday, 20 May - 2.30pm - £ 49.00

To Kill a Mockingbird is considered one of the greatest American novels ever written. Oscar winner, Aaron Sorkin’s riveting, award-winning stage adaptation of the seminal American novel about racial injustice and childhood innocence became a Broadway and West End sensation with star-studded sell-out seasons on both sides of the Atlantic. Now this thrilling courtroom drama comes to Milton Keynes Theatre. Successful lawyer, Atticus Finch, who remains the gold standard for noble heroes, encourages kindness and empathy in his children, but is pushed to the limits of these qualities himself when he resolves to uncover the truth in a town that seems determined to hide it.

4. Operation Mincemeat – A Musical – Wednesday, 10 June - 2.30 p.m. - £ 52.00

Operation Mincemeat is the 2024 Olivier Award-winning Best New Musical. It’s London's biggest hit with 77 Five-Star reviews making it the best-reviewed show in West End history. Now also a Tony-nominated Best Musical on Broadway! The year is 1943 and right now we’re losing the war. Luckily, we’re about to gamble all our futures on a stolen corpse. Singin’ in the Rain meets Strangers on a Train.  Operation Mincemeat is the fast-paced, hilarious and unbelievable true story of the twisted secret MI5 mission that won us World War II. Bursting at the seams with the kind of chaos you couldn’t invent, the question is: how did a dead body, a fake love letter, and - of all people - Ian Fleming come together to wrong-foot Hitler?

5. The Car Man – Thursday, 9 July – 2.30 p.m. - £ 52.50 – running time 2 hrs – pick up at St Mary’s Church Car Park at 11 a.m.

Matthew Bourne’s award winning show is back. Loosely based on Bizet’s ever popular opera, The Car Man has one of the most thrilling and instantly recognisable scores in New Adventures’ repertoire. It’s vivid storytelling combines with one of the most passionately dramatic scores ever written, with music by Terry Davies featuring Rodion Shchedrin’s Carmen Suite (after Bizet’s Carmen), to create a dance thriller like no other.

The familiar 19th Century Spanish cigarette factory becomes a greasy 1950’s garage-diner in the American Mid-West where the dreams and passions of a small-town are shattered by the arrival of a handsome and enigmatic stranger. Fuelled by heat and desire, the inhabitants are driven into an unstoppable spiral of greed, lust, betrayal and revenge.

6. The Spy Who Came In From The Cold – Wednesday, 15 July - 2.30.p.m. - £53.00

Based on the worldwide bestseller and named in TIME Magazine’s All-Time Greatest 100 Novels, The Spy Who Came In From The Cold is a riveting journey through the fog-shrouded terrain of Cold War espionage, deception, and moral compromise. Disillusioned British intelligence officer Alec Leamas is ready to come in from the cold — until veteran agent George Smiley persuades him to take one final mission against the East German Secret Service. Deep undercover, he finds his convictions tested and his defences breached by Liz Gold, a quietly defiant librarian whose compassion threatens to thaw his frostbitten heart.

The trouble is, his co-star Lina Lamont has a terrible speaking voice and she and Don have been playing the happy couple to appease the publicity department, which complicates his burgeoning romance with chorus girl Kathy Selden. Singin’ in the Rain the Musical, sticks faithfully to the original story but includes a few additional songs. The production is famous for bringing the golden age of Hollywood to life and faithfully recreating the iconic 'splashing puddles' sequence right on stage, using over 14,000 litres of water. It tells the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, four working class guys from the wrong side of the tracks who went on to dominate the American charts in the 1950s and 60s. Don’t miss Jersey Boys on its 20th anniversary nationwide tour!
