To get us into the Christmas spirit, the last day trips this year is to the Thursford Christmas Spectacular. It comes highly recommended by one of our members who has sent us this inormation and the photos below. 'Thursford is located just outside of Fakenham in north Norfolk and is home to a collection of steam traction engines and fairground rides, originally collected by the late George Cushing. The Christmas Spectacular started out over 40 years ago as small carol concert to raise money for the restoration of the exhibits in George’s collection. It has grown into the largest Christmas Show anywhere in Europe with a cast of 130 singers, dancers and musicians, and it includes the famous organist Phil Kershaw on the Wurlitzer organ.'

North Wales and Snowdonia Holiday September 2026
The Durham based holiday in July did not get enough interest, so now we are trying again with a holiday in North Wales, based in Llandudno. For details please click on the button below.
