The wine tasting group meets monthly usually on the second Tuesday in the early evening, at The Wee Vinoteca, a friendly and informal wine bar tucked away in The Arcade, Hitchin. Each session will offer the chance to explore a variety of wines—from well-known classics to hidden gems—guided by knowledgeable hosts in a relaxed and sociable setting.

We taste 3 wines and are provided with cheese and charcuterie. The host explains a little about each wine.  Whether you're a seasoned wine drinker or just keen to learn more about wine, this group is all about sharing good company, great conversation, learning a little and a glass or two along the way.

The next meeting is on Tuesday, 14 July at 5pm, tasting Chilean wines. Cost: £22 incl nibbles, cheese and charcuterie.Payment is due to the venue on the night. These meetings are very popular and the venue has limited capacity. There are also now special events which combine fine wines with fine food. The next one is a Spanish food and wine pairing at the Cock Inn, High Street, Hitchin on 2nd July at 7pm. The price is £75.
